Congratulations to the following students who participated in the Future Business Leaders of America Regional Competition in January:

STATE

Congratulations to FBLA members who attended the FBLA State Conference in Chattanooga April 4-6. Eleven members made the trip, with several participating in a Leadership Academy, others serving as voting delegates and entering competitive events. The following students represented SGCHS on the stage during the awards ceremony by placing in the top 8:

Brooklyn Harrell—6th in Broadcast Journalism

George Njalle—5th in Business Management

The team of Landen Stitts and Bond Wyatt— 5th in Sports and Entertainment Management

These students represented SGCHS on the stage during the awards ceremony by placing in the top 4 and qualifying for Nationals which will be held June 29-July 2 in Chicago:

Madelynn Malone— 3rd in Accounting I

The team of Collin Wankel and Coral Weber— 3rd in Public Service Announcement

The SGCHS FBLA Chapter received Third Place in the Largest Chapter Membership Percentage Increase award.

In addition, our chapter was able to donate $245.54 to the March of Dimes, thanks to the generosity of our students and faculty!
