To the senior class of 2021:
My name is Taylor Shappley, and I am the owner of Holland Studio. I recently met with some of the parents at school to discuss the senior picture process. If you weren’t there, then this letter is to inform you on what you need to know. I know SGCHS is looking forward to a great 2021–2022 school year. We want your senior experience to be the best year of your life so far.
One of the first things that the senior class does each year is to have senior pictures made by Holland Studio during the summer.
On our website, www.Hollandstudio.net , we will have a video which will explain the senior picture process. There, you will be able to watch the video that was presented at the school. Also, find attached with this letter a brochure which describes the different sessions that we offer.
We are located in Germantown, TN and have been taking school pictures for over 40 years serving great schools like Lausanne, MUS, Collierville High, Hutchison and many more. I realize driving an hour to Germantown may not be the most convenient way for you to have your pictures made and in no way is it a requirement for you to do so in order to be in the SGCHS yearbook. On June 15th and 16th , we will be at Peaceful Oaks, a bed and breakfast in Medina, where we will take the school required pictures- tux/drape, cap and gown, and a casual shot for anyone who doesn’t want to come to us. However, we can provide our best work in the controlled settings of our studio. So, for anyone willing to make the trip to our studio we will deduct $10 from your sitting fee to cover gas. This would be in addition to the $10 off you would also receive for having your picture made in June. A sitting fee of $46.95, which is the cost of the Basic sitting fee giving you the required pictures for school, will have now become $26.95. Please decide which sessions you want and call to make an appointment at 362-1818. If at all possible, we would like for you to make your appointment early in the summer so that everyone will have had pictures made before school starts. Please know if you wait until a week before school starts to make your appointment, they will be completely booked up. In order for you to appear in the 2021-2022 yearbook, you must have your senior pictures made by Holland Studio either at their facility or on the date specified in the Jackson area.
